Winter work on Cornish Shrimpers.
Work and servicing of various Cornish Shrimpers stored undercover and on hard standing with Windsport over the winter is off to an early start thanks to their owners taking advantage of the Windsport special winter work package.
Some say there is not a lot of winter work to be done on a Shrimper and probably they are right compared with other similar size craft, but if you want to keep your boat in tip top condition little and often is a good plan to keep on top of things. Right now there is old antifouling to remove , spars to varnish, engines to winterise and the odd cleat, halyard, sheave or keel she that needs attention.
