Our servicing workshop has been in high demand recently with a trail of work booked in for various customers. In between maintenance on the sailing club’s rib, winter work on the Shrimpers, fixing sailing dinghies and our constant work on the Darts & Sprints we’ve been building and preparing our new workshop. The workshop is now almost ready for use, we have only to move all of the machine tools over. This will mean we have more useful space and be able to keep the dirtier work in one place and the cleaner jobs in the other.
The next few weeks and months will be a busy time for Windsport with the Dinghy show in London this weekend, international coaching courses and ongoing work on site.
We’ve recently welcomed Georgie to our team who is working alongside Cookie in the office and helping out Tom, Alex and Brian in the workshops and on site. With a background in Photography, filmmaking and graphic design she is also beginning to redesign our printed materials, including brochures, flyers and logos giving Windsport’s look an uplift for the years ahead.
