A phenomenal 70+  plus boats took part in the 2013 Sprint 15 National Championship over the August bank holiday weekend. Pentewan Sands proved once again to be a popular venue with the action on and off the water illustrating  that the class has a continued attraction for both the sailors and their families.

Congratulations must go to Stuart Snell who soon took an unassailable lead in hi A s new boat to take the Sprint 15 National trophy. This has only recently been renamed the ‘Nick Dewhirst Shield’ in memory of the Sprint15 Class association chairman who died so suddenly at the beginning of August.

As usual Windsport with their technical advice and comprehensive spares was on hand to offer their invaluable support for the class and all the sailors.

Looking forward to 2014 – Thorpe Bay!
