Windsport Shrimper tuition expands

Cornish Shrimper tuition with Windsport continuous to expands with a steady increase in current and potential Shrimper sailors signing up for expert tuition or sailing tips from the Windsport team.  Despite being based at Mylor Harbour near Falmouth, recently the  Windsport  instructor team have been providing tuition further afield.  This time Brian was engaged to travel to Poole Harbour in Dorset to familiarise a recent purchaser with the delights of sailing the boat and some practical skills.  Moored at Parkstone Yacht Club this time the coaching was on on the slightly larger Shrimper 21 with a very similar gaff rig to it’s smaller counterpart the Cornish Shrimper 19.

We can thoroughly recommend joining the Shrimper Fleet if you are in this neck of the woods:  At Parkstone Yacht Club you join a fleet currently of thirty-four of which 45% cruise and 55% race in friendly competition.Shrimper tuition

You join a very sociable set where the Club as well as the Shrimper Owners Association hold various events locally, some nationally and internationally.  At the Club you can keep your Shrimper in the marina or on a swinging mooring. There is a water taxi to take you out to your swinging mooring.  For more info on the fleet click here

Windsport is increasingly offering more Cornish Shrimper tuition as well as any necessary  repairs , servicing,  parts and  storage as the local class and their owners go from strength to strength…
